HOMEWORK: For Tuesday, September 15: Read "Getting Started" (Bird by Bird, 3--15) and write a Double Entry Journal which quotes two short passages, and comments on each.

Read and discussed "Means to a Memoir," brainstorming a list of the qualities that made it good writing.
(First graded piece of writing will be a memoir/reflective essay.)

DUE DATES

THURSDAY, September 17: First draft to share with writing group. (Will share on Friday.)
