Students created classroom folders.
Reviewed syllabus; introduced class blogs.
Students completed Creative Writing surveys.
Shared surveys with a partner.
Began partner introductions to the class.

DUE DATES
THURSDAY, September 3: Finish reading introduction to Bird by Bird and bring a completed Double Entry Response Journal (DEJ) to class.

TUESDAY, September 8: First reading log,  DEJ on independent reading due.
